I agree with the writer about how a bachelors degree does not mean anything anymore and how people applying for jobs need to have more to their resume than just a degree. Employers want their employees to be experienced and well-rounded. I was not at surprised by how much the percentages changed because in the previous years people would either get a job right out of high school or either get an associates degree and now everyone goes to college.
"Should More People Skip College?" Like the first article, I agree with what the writer said about how college degrees are not that necessary. I also agree with the writer about over-education. I believe it is a problem because now so many high school graduates are going into college without thinking about other opportunities and coming out of college with so much debt. "Plan B: Skip College" Compared to the first two articles, this writer also mentioned that the only two jobs that need a college degree is accounting and postsecondary teaching. If so many careers do not need a college degree, why will employers not hire them? Even though more people are getting college degrees and they are starting to not mean anything except a four year education, employers still look for them and more.
